Five words to Aerosmith - part two

I recently had a second chance of seeing a great concert. Aerosmith came once more to Brazil, probably the last time, hence I couldn’t miss it.
Definitely, best concert I’ve ever been to. I like their pop hits, but the classics are much better overall, and they played them all!! Dream on, Same Old Song and Dance, Kings and Queens, Walk this Way and in the end, Toys in the Attic.
I certainly recorded it, although my camera isn’t quite appropriate equipment for that, but I couldn’t miss the chance of having material about that memorable evening and eventually show it to my daughter, who’s gonna love rock concerts, that’s for sure.

I was offered a second opportunity of seeing those guys and it was a bliss!



Well, I could use lots of adjectives to describe last May 29th, but instead, I'm gonna use adverbs.

Desde os nomes dos vilões romanos, sempre em latim e com referências desdenhosas como Calígula Minus, do álbum Asterix, o Gaulês, o alienígena amigo Waldisneyano, em O dia em que o céu caiu em nossas cabeças, até o seu último lançamento em comemoração aos seus 50 anos, O Livro de Ouro, é repleto de ilustrações maravilhosas com referências à famosas obras de arte, insinuando que os irredutíveis gauleses tenham influenciado o mundo culturalmente.
De fato, os celtas, povo representado pelos moradores da vila gaulesa na Armória, influenciaram as civilizações em diversos campos como sociedade, guerras, exportação, culturas, etc.

Intertextualidade

O conceito de intertextualidade está em alta. Como tratou Professor Pasquale em sua coluna esta semana: "intertextualidade - o diálogo que se dá entre os textos, entre o texto que eu leio e os que eu deveria ler para entender o que leio".
É a pura verdade. Para tudo há referências e sem elas nunca atingimos o potencial das coisas, sejam elas um texto, um filme, uma piada.
Isso mostra que, para descobrir as coisas, é necessário interesse e quanto mais buscamos descobrir, mais interessante fica!
Vamos pensar em exemplos para intertextualidade.

Have you seen this movie? Jeff Bridges won the Oscar by his performance in it. It's about a country singer whose talent and success are part of the past. But what caught my attention to it was the sinopsis. This text shows how an easy text can be more English.

Bad Blake is a broken-down, hard-living country music singer who's had too many marriages, far too many years on the road and one too many drinks way too many times.
